Node.js How to Setup Servers

Get free hosting services: Duostack (128M database), Heroku (5M database), Nodester (setup by coupon), or

Read about how to setup the server. Basically you can have apache on the front as a reverse proxy to dispatch the node request to your node server. Doing this way you lose some of the node.js benefits, but will make it running with your traditional services (in php probably) in parallel.

Setting up on Duostack is really simple. I just followed the instructions on their website. A server is up and running in less than one hour. See my demo app here:
